somehow this came out darker when i scanned it.. especially the cat photo on the back of the girl.

i think i should just draw a whole series of these.

this collection was so legit.

although, i'm a little bit sad (for myself) that the earpieces are not an accessory!! 

my friend had told me that the crystals were put on one by one for the show.

so if i can do that every morning..  or have kamo-san do it for me...i would cry in joy.

the track looks so beautiful and it reminds me of my running days.

i try to run whenever i have the chance / energy / time.

i do miss competing in races too. in the hills and stuff. i seem to make alot of excuses to run here and i've learned i'm better at doing things when there's pressure. like, when there is someone infront of me for a whole three laps and i just cut them off in the last 100m it feels really great.


this past spring, i read that book by murkami, 'what i talk about when i talk about running' and as i was reading it i didn't have many things going thru my mind as i would do with other autiobiographies. it was more like 'am i reading about what i talk about when i talk about running?' . i think maybe runners will all feel something similar to that. jun too, i assume.


anyway, i love that everything he is doing i am kind of really truly obsessed with.

at this moment..i am trying to work on a few personal projects. one involving pencil in my hand. another involving making suits. or rather, "suits". i'm very inspired by the way guys have this way or wearing suits... or maybe it is derived from the my love/obsession for gakuran uniforms and that feeling of uniform-ness. nonetheless, i am going to make a few different sort of suits until i get tired of doing so. and i'm thinking of making one in leopard, one in lavender-lilac, one in a floral brocade, one in a tartan. yeah....this also basically reflects my evovling closet which has gone from all shades of black and white to all of the above patterns. colour is a good change.

to get me started on my mini-collections of "suits" (oh , i say suits because i feel sooo not qualified to say it without quotes. i am such an informal dresser) ..this is a recent purchase.

can anyone guess where it's from? the wooden buttons give it away nomnom i'm going to have good dreams when if i wear this to sleep

some previews of the shoot my friend Jen had set up with her team. really really blessed to have her play with my designs that have been sadly neglected in my storage closet for a long time.



working with many creative minds is like being on many drugs and being overly high just before you crash and overdose. except you don't overdose and die. instead you just keep peaking and create amazing things. not that i would know what that would actually feel like, but this is a much better natural high.

zon and i went to that event- it was basically that. designers and such drinking champagne. i didn't even see the book. i remember that day i was running on no sleep for 50 hours, once again, and i ate a pret-a-manger sandwich. i managed to run down to meet zon at helmut and go back to chelsea for this thingy thing. and we stayed for one hour looking at people and left. we both agreed we should study style.com people's and parties more often.

i am feeling empty right now but i should by half full.

today i was awoken by a call from my good friend eddie that i am a finalist for the CFDA contest. trust- i worked so hard on it i almost died. i am really super excited because only five other kid's in my grade were chosen and maybe one of us will win the big prize.

how do you like the faux-watermark i made? i am semi-paranoid of people stealing my artwork because i swear, "friends" do it too. and it will piss me off. anyway i had 30+ pages but there you go. marching band + dark romantiscsm story.

i am beginning to develop a direction for my senior thesis/ personal style.

it's dark. it's japan. it's london. it's street. it's cotton and knit. it's layers. it's 30% avant-garde. it's 100% wearable. it's stoner. it's classic rock. it's poems. it's black. it's 1% boheme vibe. it's 1% western. it's 1% native.

this post was way too much fashion for me.
