i have all this jewerly that i never wear. and i only keep them because they are sentimental.

i have all these clippings, magazines, fotographs and drawings that i never end up organizing. i never throw them away because they are sentimental.
(i was also listening to some old songs, that i usually never lsiten to but never delete. because they are sentimental.)
is this a bad thing.

and no 'tis not a bad thing at all! I'm the same. I think most great designers are all, in a way, pack rats. I think it's quite useful & necessary ;)
I feel like I read an entry like this from you before...which makes me wonder if I said it was good or bad. But either way, I think you give inanimate objects meaning, you know? I mean as a fashion person, that's an asset when you design (with or without a historical/social context)...
