waiting for irene is such and odd way to pass time.
i am not at my home as of 2 pm today..as my roof and location is in a possibly high risk area.
so i brought hedi and am at a friends.
and we are just waiting
there are so many tasks i could do during these hours.
but instead
i will take it as a time to do nothing
this hurricane may or may not be as bad as they say it is.
just the fact that we are waiting
and know the unpleasant is coming
is a weird feeling
kind of like that dream i had of the last day of the universe.
even at evacuation hour
people were jogging
and walking dogs in the rain
i thought i'd never say this
but
there's just so much time to pass
