this was taken on new years morning. 

i had fallen asleep early (200 or 300 am) at mizuyo's house and was awoken to a bright bright sky around 700 am.

a weather that you could never believe was new years in new york.

i miss seeing the sunrise , in a way.

it's nostalgic since i used to see it everyday.

now a days, i am afraid of the sun rising on a work day.. 

i scurry and force myself to sleep once i feel the dark sky turning any hint of blue..

how long has it been since i'd seen a sunrise like this?

nye was spent , unexpectedly, in san francisco with tiff houman emil and his friends, and met up with the lulu. i wanted to sleep through the new year but that didn't really happen as i hoped. the night was a mixture of brooklyn vibe/vintage-is-the-new-high fashion/grungy/narrow-sf-apts/tecate/jameson/tecate/american apparel/and well, really bad fashion in general. i totally understand now, lulu. it gave me flashbacks of 2008 when the ruffclub was pro-active. (not to be mistaken for parties like the misshapes, those were really good).

well, i have no complaints otherwise.
